OpenAI Confirms ChatGPT App for Windows 11 Is Coming This Summer

 OpenAI has revealed that a standalone ChatGPT desktop app will soon be available for all Windows 11 users. The app will bring faster access to AI, including real-time voice interaction, document scanning, and integration with Windows features like Snap Assist.



The update will be rolled out through the Microsoft Store, and OpenAI has confirmed that both free and Plus users will be supported.


According to official sources, the app will support:

- One-click activation with Win + G

- Voice chat powered by Whisper  

- Memory tools to keep recent conversations


This move brings ChatGPT even closer to everyday PC users — including students, developers, and professionals using AI to write, code, summarize, or search.


๐Ÿ“ข OpenAI said the rollout will begin *August 2025*, with a beta version coming in July.
